Sonnet from Class…

So my Lit professor made us write sonnets today (or try). So I want honest advice on it!

Wild things Tamed

Two wild things drawn together

One seeking freedom

One looking for adventure

Together they build a kingdom

Love grows wild in their hearts

Taming two wild minds

They knew they could never part

They were two of a kind

They live freely with each other;

Overflowing with happiness, passion

In love, they smother,

With no need to ration

He says I am perfect

And he sprung from my dreams

He’s there at the worst of times

His love is earnest

And we make the best team

Because, of course, we have the same mind

It’s supposed to be a Petrarchan Sonnet, not a Shakespearean, so please don’t look for iambic pentameter.
